Sunset Strip
Sunset Boulevard’s best-known portion is the mile and a half stretch between Hollywood and Beverly Hills that has been dubbed "The Sunset Strip." The Strip embraces a premier collection of rock clubs, restaurants, boutiques, and Hollywood nightspots that are on the cutting edge of the entertainment business.
Melrose Avenue

Getty Museum
The Getty Center is raised atop a canyon high enough that on a clear day, it is possible to see the snow at Big Bear as well as the Pacific Ocean and the entire Los Angeles metropolis. Home to hundreds of collections & exhibitions of classical sculptures, European paintings, drawings, manuscripts, decorative arts, and photographs.
Westwood Village
A center of movie-going on the Westside and the site of many movie premieres, Westwood is home to several vintage movie theaters, including the Art Deco Crest, the Mann Village (once called the Fox Theatre) and the Mann Bruin. Westwood is where the Playboy Mansion is located, and is also the playground to UCLA students. It is also home to the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, the last resting place of many of Hollywood's biggest stars.
Santa Monica Pier
The pier contains Pacific Park, a family amusement park with a large Ferris Wheel, a carousel from the 1920s, an aquarium, shops, entertainers, an arcade, a pub, and restaurants. At the end of the pier, anglers may pursue their hobby. During the summer months, a free Thursday Twilight Dance Series is held. Free open-air film screenings occur from early August to late September.
Venice Beach Boardwalk
The promenade that runs parallel to the beach ("the boardwalk"), Muscle Beach, tennis courts, Skate Dancing Plaza, the numerous beach volleyball courts, a bike trail and the businesses and residences that have their addresses on Ocean Front Walk are just a few of the tastes you will discover by the famous sands of Southern California.
Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl is a modern amphitheatre at 2301 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood, primarily used for music performances. The "bowl" in this context is the natural cavity in the earth into which the amphitheater is built. It officially opened in 1922 on the site of a natural amphitheater formerly known as the Daisy Dell, and has been the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since then.
Mann’s Chinese Theater
This theater is famous for its courtyard featuring handprints, footprints and signatures of many legends Hollywood helped bring into recognition. The Hollywood “Walk of Fame” runs in front of the theater.
Griffith Park
This 4063-acre mountainous park lies in the heart of Los Angeles offering the famous Griffith Park Observatory, horseback riding, hiking, picnicking, golfing, swimming, and tennis as well as many other attractions.
Observatory & Planetarium
Newly renovated, and sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in L.A.'s Griffith Park, it commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin, including downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest.
